Partnering With Uganda
Medical Relief
TURN is facilitating surgeries for wounded children in northern Uganda. Three children currently at the World Vision Child Soldier Rehabilitation Center in Gulu need immediate surgeries. They have been without medical attention because each child needs delicate brain surgery that can only be done in the West. TURN is already working with US doctors that have agreed to donate their time and hospital facility, we just need to raise the money for their passports and visas and travel expenses from Kampala to the States.

Awareness & Advocacy
TURN's Justin Pardee is speaking at “Share the Love” in Hollywood on March 4th. “Share the Love” is a concert and fundraiser organized for youth by youth from ten Los Angeles high schools on Saturday, March 4th, from 4:30 –8:30 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. Organized by students from One Global Tribe, the kids will raise funds for the rehabilitation of child soldiers at the Rachele Rehabilitation Center in Lira, Uganda through ticket sales ($12.00 pre-sale/ $15.00 at the door), a silent auction, and the promotion of dog tags ($15.00/piece), each engraved with the name of a child affected by the war.
Church Partnerships
TURN is standing behind the faith-based community of southern Uganda, encouraging them to “adopt a church in the north” and bring immediate aid to their own people. A majority of the Ugandans in the south don’t even know about the extent of the horrific war that has plagued the north for nearly 20 years. TURN is working alongside World Vision to bring awareness of the war to the south and mobilize aid from among southern Ugandans. Our vision is to help Ugandans help their own people! We are connecting churches in the south to a church that needs immediate help in the north.
100% of donations go directly to the hurting people of Uganda. TURN is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, all contributions are tax deductible.
