- The Arlington Neighborhood Church Network
- The City of Riverside awards TURN the “2004 Neighborhoods That Work” award
for bringing together neighboring churches
- The Drops of Rain dance and drama workshop
- TURN sponsored and staffed a creative dance workshop for at-risk teen girls.
- Drops of Rain Fellowship
- The girls from Drops of Rain and their families came for fellowship and
Bible lessons in the home of the Colliers.
- Greater Riverside Church Network
- La Sierra University, California Baptist University and over 25 churches
are becoming unified under TURN’s Church Network
- The King’s Hall Emergency Shelter for Women with Children
- TURN works behind the scenes coordinating volunteer efforts, supporting
the staff and ministering to the 140 women and children who have made this
shelter their temporary home
- The King’s Hall Kid’s Club
- TURN coordinated meaningful programs for the children of the shelter
- The King’s Hall Building Dedication
- TURN organized a prayer dedication ceremony where area pastors and prayer
leaders prayed over the shelter’s staff and facility.
- Weekly Food Distribution
- TURN delivers a large load of food to an kitchen that prepares hot meals
for three of the Riverside homeless shelters
Supporting the Global Community
- Support to Outstanding Faith-Based Programs and Individuals
- Financial contributions awarded to carefully selected domestic and foreign
ministry efforts
- Support of Jefferson Transitional Program
- Partnership with this outstanding agency that provides treatment to those
suffering from mental illness.
